Construction continues this week on the Indianola Downtown Square Reconstruction Project’s next phase, with the southern alley and southern parking lot closed earlier this week. As part of the utility construction, a temporary closure on Buxton St. between Salem and 1st Ave is necessary to extend new water mains and construct underground electrical conduits. It is anticipated this closure will last three to four weeks, weather dependent. Find a map of the construction area above.
