Bondurant-Farrar netted a second-half goal to defeat the Norwalk girls soccer team 1-0 on a cool and windy Friday night at Warrior Stadium.

The Class 2A fourth-ranked Warriors dropped to 0-2 on the young season, both 1-nil losses to state-ranked opponents. The visiting Bluejays, who were playing their season opener, are ranked 11th in 2A.

Norwalk finished with a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal but was unable to find the back of the net. Braelyn Clark and Addy Wood both attempted two shots on goal and senior keeper Zoey Davenport had two saves.

The Warrior girls open Little Hawkeye Conference play on Tuesday night, hosting Pella at 7:00 p.m.

BOYS TRACK MEET CALLED OFF
