The voters have spoken, and Iowa’s favorite beer for 2023 is Peace Tree Brewing’s Blonde Fatale, a Belgian-Style Blonde Ale. Blonde Fatale beat Exile Brewing Company’s Ruthie in the Des Moines Register’s Beer Brackets finals. Peace Tree’s home is Knoxville, with a tap room in Des Moines. The two beers were the finalists out of 64 beers that started the contest.
