After all four PCM spring sporting events scheduled for Tuesday were called off due to weather, the Mustangs’ girls golf, boys soccer, and boys and girls track and field teams compete this afternoon. The PCM girls golf team will compete with fellow area schools Pella and Norwalk in the Cardinal Invite at Newton’s Westwood Golf Course at 3:30 p.m. The Mustangs’ girls track and field team will be joined by area schools Pleasantville and Twin Cedars at the EBF Girls Invitational at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High School at 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the PCM and Pleasantville boys track and field teams will compete in the Bolts Relays at Baxter Community School also at 4:30 p.m. Wrapping up the day for PCM spring sports is the boys soccer team hosting Chariton in a 7 p.m. match.
