The Norwalk boys tennis team competed at the Johnston Invitational on Saturday and placed third out of four teams. Waukee won the tournament, followed by Johnston, Norwalk and Ankeny.
The Warriors were led by the senior combo of Kaden Tomkins and Drew Chambers, who finished as the Flight 2 doubles runner-up.
Norwalk returns to Little Hawkeye Conference dual competition on Tuesday, traveling to Grinnell for a meet at 4:15 p.m.
Norwalk hosts coed track meet
The Warrior girls and boys track and field teams will be in action Monday, hosting the Norwalk Co-ed Invitational at 4:30. The nine-team field also includes Carlisle, Dallas Center-Grimes, Grinnell, Nevada, Newton, North Polk, South Tama and Winterset.
