Simpson College is hosting Republican political media consultant Mike Murphy for the 12th annual Culver Lecture this evening. Murphy has handled strategy and advertising for more than 26 successful gubernatorial and Senatorial campaigns, including 12 wins in “Blue” states that have consistently voted Democratic Party in Presidential elections. Murphy also served as a top campaign advisor to John McCain, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and will discuss the upcoming Republican presidential field and the evolving role of Iowa in the nominating process. The lecture is sponsored by the non-partisan John C. Culver Public Policy Center. The lecture is at 7pm in Hubbell Hall in the Kent Campus Center on the Simpson College campus, with a virtual option.
