IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO 32 CALLS FOR SERVICE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: FIVE PAPER SERVICE ATTEMPTS, FOUR EXTRA PATROL REQUESTS, THREE SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES, TWO RECKLESS DRIVERS, TWO ACCIDENTS, TWO MOTORIST ASSISTS, ONE INCOMPLETE 911, ONE REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS PERSON, ONE VEHICLE UNLOCK, ONE REPORT OF LIVESTOCK IN THE ROADWAY, ONE REPORT OF ATV’S IN THE ROADWAY, ONE ASSAULT REPORT, ONE UNLICENSED DRIVER, ONE REPORT OF DEBRIS IN THE ROADWAY, ONE WELFARE CHECK, ONE DOG CALL, MET WITH ONE SUBJECT, ONE ESCORT, ONE OPEN DOOR, AND ASSISTED ONE OTHER AGENCY ON A CALL.
IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER FIELDED 190 CALLS INCLUDING 37 911 CALLS.
THE MARION COUNTY JAIL IS CURRENTLY HOLDING 18 SUBJECTS.
