Special Olympics Iowa held the West Central Spring Games at Indianola Stadium Tuesday, hosting hundreds of athletes from seven counties across the state competing in a range of events including sprints, long distance runs and walks, softball throws, and jumps. Event Coordinator Dallas Hinkhouse tells KNIA News he appreciates the hard work from all the athletes, volunteers, students, and fans during the event, as they wouldn’t have been able to make it work otherwise.
