The Pleasantville varsity girls track team was sixth at Pella Christian Tuesday with 47 points while the boys were seventh with 34 points.

The girls were led by their 4×200 relay team in second place with a time of 1:54.30 and their Shuttle Hurdle squad in fourth with a run of 1:13.92 and the 4×100 team in fourth at 53.04.  Relay names were not provided.

Individually Alex Blackford was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 15’1” and  Lillian Mason fifth at 14’1.25”. Emmy Hiemstra was fifth in the discus at 82’11”.

On the boys side of the ledger the Trojans were fifth in the 4×200 relay at 1:39.52, the 4×400 at 3:43.49 and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay at 1:09.99. Relay names were not provided.

In individual events the Trojans had three sixth place finishes, Ryan Clement in the 100, Peyton Major in the 400 and Caleb Cook in the 400 hurdles.

The boys team will compete again Thursday at Saydel while the girls will be at Central Decatur Thursday.
