Jack Brown and Caden Endres both scored goals as the Norwalk boys soccer team defeated Ankeny 2-1 on Friday at the West Des Moines Valley Invitational. The Warriors improved to 2-3 overall while the Hawks fell to 0-5.

Norwalk made the most of its four shots on goal, scoring once in each half. Assists were credited to Tavin Ferner and Teegan Kralik. Warrior keeper Jacob Rueber allowed one second-half goal but came up with four crucial saves on the night.

The Warriors return to Valley Stadium today for their second scheduled match of the tournament, facing Waukee Northwest at 11:30 a.m.
