A 32-year-old Knoxville man was charged with six felonies and arrested for incidents that occurred April 13th and April 16th.
Jordan Daniel Swank was charged with a total of six felonies from the two incidents along with other charges. On the April 13 arrest, Swank was charged with Eluding, Injury, OWI, Drugs or Participation in a Felony and a Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance – third or subsequent offense.
Swank allegedly attempted to elude the Pella Police Department while committing a felony. A short time later the vehicle was located and Swank drove through several fences before the vehicle stopped in a ravine after being pursued by the sheriff’s department.
During a search of the vehicle drug related items were allegedly found.
In the April 16 incident Swank was charged with three more felonies, Possession of Controlled Substance third or subsequent offense. Also on the 16th Swank was charged with Theft in the Second Degree in excess of $1,500 and less than $10,000 for a vehicle he was driving. The Knoxville Police Department was involved with charges on April 16.
In addition to the felonies Swank was charged with other charges, Driving While Barred, Criminal Mischief Third Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuna Third, Trespass Injury of Damage Greater than $300, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug.
Other charges include Operating a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent and Driving while Barred.
