The Pleasantville Trojan Boys Golf Team won a home triangular Monday at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club Course.
The Trojans closed with a winning score of 174 followed by Chariton at 180 and Centerville with a nine-hole score of 184.
John White of Centerville was the medalist and Caleb Wertz of Chariton was the runner up. Individual varsity scores for Pleasantville saw freshman Lincoln Card and junior Jaxx Lovell with 43s, freshman Caylor Jones and freshman Kayne Brent with 44s.
Also golfing for the varsity but not counting in the team total were sophomore Lukas Klootwyk with a 46 and freshman Paul Gasparovich with a 49. The leading JV score for PHS was Mikey Sampson with a 44.
The team will be in action at home again Thursday at 4 p.m against Des Moines Christian and Van Meter.
