PCM Girls Track and Field Takes 3rd at EBF

The PCM girls track and field team competed at the EBF Eddy Relays Tuesday night and claimed third place with 90 points.

Top three finishers for the Mustang girls at EBF were:

1500 Meter – Abi Teeter (5:34.95) and Paige Steenhoek (5:42.77) – 1st and 3rd

100 Meter Hurdles – Morgan Karr (16.01) – 1st

Shuttle Hurdle Relay – Morgan Karr, Lillian Humpal, Jorja Teeter, Tori Lindsay (1:10.36) – 1st

Shot Put – Rylee Gallaher (35’3.50”) – 1st

400 Meter Hurdles – Tori Lindsay (1:14.81) – 2nd

4×200 Meter Relay – Tori Lindsay, Tiffani Koonce, Jorja Teeter, Lillian Humpal, (1:56.86) – 3rd

4×800 Meter Relay – Abi Teeter, Addison Steenhoek, Paige Steenhoek, Tiffani Koonce (10:58.07) – 3rd

Discus – Rylee Gallaher (99’3”) – 3rd

PCM Boys Soccer Nabs Third Win of the Season

After falling to Knoxville Monday, the PCM boys soccer team bounced back to grab their third win of the season Tuesday with a 4-0 decision over Centerville.

Caden Bouwkamp and Dominic Witt boosted the Mustangs to the victory, providing all four goals of the contest. Bouwkamp posted a hat trick in Tuesday’s win, while Dominic Witt added his third goal of the season as PCM improved to 3-5.

Up next for the Mustangs boys soccer squad is a road match at Atlantic on Friday.

PCM Girls Golf Place 7th at the West Marshall Tournament

The PCM girls golf team competed in their second of four events this week on Tuesday, and brought home a 7th place finish in the West Marshall tournament in State Center.

Eleigh Davis finished inside the top-20 for the Mustang girls, shooting the team’s lowest round with a 49. Emilyn Davis carded a 58 in the tournament, while Riley Johannes had a 60. Gretchen Uitermarkt posted a 64, while Isabelle Lorton and Brelee Berger rounded out PCM’s scoring, each scoring a 69.

The Mustang girls golf team continues their busy week Thursday in the Oskaloosa Invite at Edmundson Golf Course.
