The Bussey Library will be holding an event Wednesday at 10 a.m. when Jennifer Crowl comes to speak. Crowl is from Heartland Retirement Group in Des Moines.

Bussey Librarian Chelzie Pinegar told KNIA/KRLS News, Crowl will be talking about retirement, navigating medicare and avoiding senior scams.

Pinegar feels this is an important meeting to attend because seniors are often targeted on various scams and she added that medicare and medicaid are so confusing. Crowl will be answering questions that the public might have on the subjects.
