As thousands of visitors are set to converge on the 88th Tulip Time celebration, the group organizing the festival reminds everyone of the policy regarding the parade routes.
Tulip Time Steering Committee Co-Chair Joel Bennett asks all to remove their chairs and blankets following the three evening parades, and that those items should not be set up until 6 a.m. in the morning to make sure visitors have a chance to get better viewing. Anything left out overnight will be taken to The Well. Additionally, a designated zone for bus travelers will be closed off for parade goers until those drop offs are completed.
In general, Bennett and the committee ask for common courtesy and patience throughout the celebration, especially with those operating barricades and in road closure areas.
The 88th Tulip Time celebration will be held May 4th through the 6th. Find a full schedule of festivities here.
