The Knoxville Recreation Center is still taking sign ups for Blast Ball. Blast Ball is a simplified co-recreation version of baseball for boys and girls for children between the ages of three and five years of age.

Angie Jones, Wellness Coordinator at the Knoxville Recreation Center tells KNIA/KRLS News, “It’s a great introduction into baseball and team concepts. The field consists of a home plate and one base.”

The registration deadline for Blast Ball is Friday, April 28. Jones said the recreation center is open until 9 p.m. and they will take registrations up until 9 p.m. that night. The cost for Blast Ball is $33. The season will run between May 16th and June 1st with games on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
