The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Shop Local Saturday throughout the day today, encouraging Indianola residents to “Buy It In Indianola”, a slogan dating back to the origins of the Indianola Chamber in 1915, when it was the Indianola Commercial Club. Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News she encourages shoppers to shop local, and while it can be convenient and easy to shop online, helping local businesses helps all of us.
