The Norwalk boys and girls tennis teams swept Indianola in a Little Hawkeye Conference rivalry matchup Friday, both the boys and girls winning 9-2.
The Warriors earned wins on the boys side in singles play from Hayden Steele, Adrian Bush, Kaden Tomkins, and Braylon Stockwell, while the doubles partners of Bush/Austin Mills, Steele/Stockwell, Drew Chambers/Tomkins, Carson Menke/Tyler Stiegelmeier/ and Lane Juergens/Drew Lents. The Indians had wins in singles from Erik Jensen and Justus Woell.
On the girls side, the Warriors had wins in singles from Kelsey Dammeier, Anya Kallenbach, Madison Haskell, Ava Johnson, Katie Carson, and Sami Aagard, while the doubles partners of Dammeier/Kallanbach, Haskell/Johnson, and Grace Dehmer/Tessa Livingston, while Indianola earned wins from the doubles pairs of Audra Dowler/Ceris Askelson and Audrey Troutman/Maci Lerseth.
Both the Indianola and Norwalk teams will next compete Wednesday at the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament meet, the girls heading to Pella Christian and the boys to Grinnell.
