One day after playing its best nine hole round in three years, the Knoxville Boys Golf Squad played its best 18 hole round in three years, but it was not enough as the 295 that the Panthers scored at its invitational at Pine Knolls Country Club on Saturday was eclipsed by two strokes by Pella Christian’s 293. Knoxville’s Evan Smith was meet medalist with a -3 67. Beau Leisure was the other Panther in the top ten scoring a +3 73 good enough for a tie for 5th place.
