A highly competitive Little Hawkeye Conference girls invitational went the way of the Dutch at Pella Christian High School, as #7 in 1A Pella captured the league crown Wednesday. Pella scored 50 points, with crosstown rivals and #9 in 1A Pella Christian narrowly in second.

Pella was paced by a strong singles performance, with Emily Blom winning Flight One Singles and Claire Smock winning Flight Two. Alloree Else and Lily Van Dusseldorp placed 2nd in the Flight One Doubles bracket, while Mallory Westerkamp and Bryn Higginbotham placed 5th in Flight Two Doubles.

The Eagles swept the top of the doubles brackets, with Katy Roose and Sydney Van Arendonk claiming Flight One champions, while Claire Vander Molen/Rachel Lanferman claimed the Flight Two title. Laurey Johnson of Pella Christian placed 4th in Flight One Singles, while Reagan De Vries was 5th in Flight Two.

Norwalk placed 4th, while Indianola took 6tth in the highly competitive Little Hawkeye Conference invitational tournament. The Warriors top finishers included Madison Haskell and Ava Johnson placing 3rd in Flight One doubles, Samantha Aagard and Katie Larson getting runner up in Flight Two Doubles, and Anya Kallenbach placing 3rd in Flight Two Singles. Indianola had 4th place finishes in the doubles brackets from the pair of Brynn Bishop and Zoey Belt in Flight One and Carmen Christensen and Keely Greubel in Flight Two.
