The PCM girls golf team begins their postseason journey today, while the Mustangs boys soccer team competes in their regular season finale this evening.
A little over a week removed from a fourth-place finish in the Heart of Iowa Conference Meet at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center, the PCM girls golfers will head back to that course for the Class 2A Region 4A Meet hosted by West Marshall. The Mustangs are competing for a top-two finish to advance to the Region 4 Final against Albia, Central Decatur, Chariton, Colo-Nesco, Denver, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, and the hosts.
Meanwhile in Des Moines, the PCM boys soccer team ends their regular season tonight with a tough road match at Class 1A #4 ranked Des Moines Christian. The Mustangs are looking to put an end to their current six-match losing streak, while also trying to grab momentum ahead of their Class 1A Substate 7 first-round game at Grand View Christian.
The PCM girls golf team begins the Class 2A Region 4A Meet at Lincoln Valley Golf Course this morning at 9 a.m., while the Mustangs boys soccer squad’s game at Des Moines Christian starts at 5:30 p.m.
