After opening the season with a loss Monday night, the PCM baseball team will try to rebound tonight and even their record at .500 on the road at Newton.

The Mustangs struggled in a season opening 12-2 loss against Pella, while the Cardinals dropped a 2-1 8 inning decision on the road at Saydel to start the year. In addition to trying to bounce back from the loss Monday, PCM will be looking for a measure of revenge for last season’s 18-0 loss at home against Newton.

First pitch for tonight’s baseball game between the Mustangs and Cardinals at Woodland Park in Newton is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
