Class 1A Region 3 action begins tonight for the #14 ranked Pella Christian girls soccer team, as they host a rematch with Columbus Junction.

The Eagles and Wildcats met in the Nike Triangular at Burlington Notre Dame on April 29th, and it was all P.C. in a dominant 8-0 win. Joslyn and Lexi Terpstra combined for seven of the eight goals in the win that day, with Esther Ford adding the other goal in the contest. Since the two teams met at the end of April, Pella Christian has gone 3-2 while Columbus Junction has gone just 1-1.

Tonight’s regional first round contest between the Eagles and Wildcats at Pella Christian High School begins at 6 p.m., with the winner advancing to face either 1A #13 Panorama or Chariton in the semifinal round on Tuesday, May 23rd.
