The Twin Cedars FFA will be holding their second annual Antique Power and Vendor Show at the school. The event was originally scheduled for April, but was rescheduled to May.

There will be antique cars and tractors to view. Some of the items at the Vendor Show include laser engraved products, children’s books, dog treats and a whole variety of items.

There will also be a greenhouse where the students sell a variety of plants.

Twin Cedars FFA instructor Jordan Moody is finishing her sixth year with FFA. She tells KNIA/KRLS News, “The goal of FFA is to advocate for all types of agriculture and show students they can have a role in agriculture whether it be a communication thing, leadership position. Students learn all sorts of things, such as leadership positions, but they also learn about soil judging and that ag is more than just the farming aspect.”

Student Kelly Stevenson tells KNIA/KRLS what she has learned in FFA, “I am currently in greenhouse management. I’m learning how to take care of flowers and I would love to have my own garden someday. It’s leading up to what I would love to do in the future, whether I want to be a florist.”

There will also be games and food available. The event will be May 27th starting at 8:30 a.m.
