Registration is open for the next session of Geri-Fit, a strength-building workout class for older adults offered by the Pella Public Library. This 45-minute exercise class intended to increase strength and improve balance. The new session will run June 2nd through August 11th, with classes meeting on Tuesday and Friday mornings at either 10:30 or 11:30 a.m. in the library meeting room. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle to the first class, and eventually will need a stretch band and light (2-3 pound) weights. The program is free, but registration is required by calling the library at 641-628-4268.
