The Marion County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. The board discussed the Iowa Department of Agriculture Land Stewardship Division of Mines & Minerals, Wilcox Park Reclamation.

They heard a Legislative Update from Kelly Meyers, Skinner & Paschke, PLLC. There was also a public hearing transferring property to the City of Knoxville as part of the VA campus property improvements, which was approved. 

There was  a resolution regarding the Disposal of Property as well as a public hearing on 3014 East Main Street, Knoxville. The Board proposed to take additional action for the authorization of a Loan Agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $2,750,000 to provide funds to pay the costs of aiding the Adkins Urban Renewal Plan in Pleasantville.

There was a Resolution to authorize destruction of non-permanent records in the Marion County Auditor’s Office, which was approved. 

The board held a Discussion about Marion County Properties at 104 S. Sixth St., Knoxville, 2003 N. Lincoln St., Knoxville and 3014 E. Main St., Knoxville. Department heads were asked to check out 2003 N. Lincoln property in the near future.

Annual reviews were held for Marion County Development Director Carla Eysink and Marion County IT Director Andrew De Haan. Both were approved for pay raises.
