When the Knoxville Baseball Squad plays Ballard Wednesday night, it will be a battle of two ranked teams. The Panthers find themselves at #7 in the latest class 3A Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association poll, right in front of the Panthers at #6 is Wednesday’s opponent, Ballard. Knoxville Coach Turner Devore knows how important this game will be in not only seeding purposes for the sub state, but for postseason awards as well.

Devore: “Getting our kids to see their coaches and that means a lot for postseason and you really don’t think about individual stuff but going into meetings and you haven’t see those kids it’s really hard to vote for them.”

The game will be broadcast on 95.3 KNIA Wednesday starting at 7:15.
