The Pleasantville Pig Out is scheduled to be held Saturday in downtown Pleasantville.

Pleasantville City Deputy Clerk, April Schrader, tells KNIA/KRLS News, the big event has been in existence for over 10 years. The event includes a free will donation luncheon, kids activities, a bags tournament, a cooking contest, a band “Guilty by Association,” and an Afterparty.

The lunch will start at 1 p.m. by Murphy’s Plate, the Kids Activities is set for 2-4 p.m. with the Pleasantville Dance Team performing. The bags tournament is 2-4 p.m. as well, with a cooking contest 4-6 p.m. A band and bar will be 7-10 p.m. and the Afterparty will be at North End at 10:30 p.m.

There will be some special items for purchase including sour gummy pigs and a wine tasting event for $5 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., must be 21.
