The Indianola School Board met in closed session to hold the annual review of Superintendent Ted Ihns at their meeting Tuesday. Ihns tells KNIA News he was happy with the result of the closed session, and is looking forward to continuing to build towards the future at Indianola.

“I think it’s been a good partnership, I’ve been very fortunate to be a part of this school district. It is a very, very good school district, we have a very strong community, we have great students, we have great staff. There are always things that we can continue to work on, but we know we are headed in the right direction. We have a vision and a mission in mind, and our goal is to keep the focus on the students and make sure that we are providing a great educational experience everyday. What came out in the evaluation process was to continue on the course and make sure we offer our students the best daily experience that we can.”
