Plans are underway for the July 4th Celebration in Bussey.

The July 4th Committee is looking for monetary support to put on the show. Committee Member Leann Sanders, tells KNIA/KRLS News, the cost of putting on the event really adds up fast when you consider fireworks, entertainment and the carnival rides in the park.

Sanders said, “The main 4th of July Celebration is going to be July 4th, with the parade at 10 and then we have stage entertainment starting at 11.”

In addition to the parade and entertainment, there will be midway rides in the park. A silent auction starts at 5 p.m. The crowning of Bussey’s Prince and Princess 2023 will be at 6 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.
