After both squads fell in non-conference play Friday night, the PCM baseball and softball teams will try to rebound with single Heart of Iowa Conference home games against Perry Monday night.

The Mustangs boys and girls of summer were dominant in a sweep of the Blue Jays in Perry back on May 31st, as the baseball team won 14-0 and the softball squad won 12-2. PCM is trying to hold pace with West Marshall in the baseball conference standings, sitting just two games back of the Trojans for the top spot in the league. The Mustangs softball team is tied with Perry for third place in the Heart of Iowa Conference, with both three games back of Saydel and Greene County, who are tied for first place.

First pitch for both the PCM baseball and softball team’s home games against Perry Monday are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
