After their May 30th games at Earlham were postponed due to weather, the Pleasantville baseball team swept the Cardinals in a doubleheader Monday night while the Trojans Softball team was swept in their twinbill. The Pleasantville baseball team needed nine innings to down Earlham 18-11 in the first game, before winning the second game 7-5 to improve their record to 19-6 overall and 10-3 in the West Central Conference. The Trojans softball team fell in the first game to the Cardinals 3-1 and dropped game two 11-0. Ella Clark posted two hits in both games, while Ashlyn McConnell scored the lone run in the losses as Pleasantville dropped to 7-15 overall and 6-8 in the league. The Trojans baseball team is back in action tonight with a 7 p.m. game at Collins-Maxwell, while the softball team is off until Wednesday when they host Southeast Warren.
