The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad fell to Murray last night 21-6. While the Baseball Squad was swept by Murray in two games. The Mustangs jumped on the Saints with six runs in the first inning, but back came the Saints to get it down to one run, but got no closer and saw the game unravel. Paetyn Anderson led the Saints with two hits. She had two RBI. Ashlyn Metz also drove in two. Lotty Nolte took the loss. The baseball games were close, but the Saints were unable to cash in on 10-7 and 12-8 losses. Game one got two hits each from Trevor Hoch and Max Enfield while Enfield continued his hitting in the second game with three RBI. In the second game, the Saints had a 10-2 lead and could not hold it. Melcher-Dallas Softball heads to Orient-Macksburg for a doubleheader today.
