The Knoxville Municipal Airport will be hosting the Knoxville Airshow and Family Festival in late September, and they are seeking sponsorship for the event.
The event will feature multiple airshow acts, activities for families, and concerts performed by The Nadas and Neva Alden. The Knoxville Airshow and Family Festival event will be the largest airshow ever held at the Knoxville Municipal Airport, and the goal is to create community engagement, interest in aviation, and encourage careers or advancement in manufacturing and trades.
Knoxville Municipal Airport Manager Katie Shawver estimates that the event will cost at least $45,000. The event will be free for the public and supported entirely through sponsorship. Shawver says the sponsorship that the airport is seeking for the event ranges from a jumbo jet with national recognition, to small jets where your logo will be displayed locally.
