The Marion County Fair has announced that country music star Sara Evans with Walker Montgomery will headline the evening shows at this year’s fair.

Evans was the Academy of Country Music Top Female Vocalist in 2005 and has won five other major awards in the music industry. The multi-time award winner has recorded five songs that reached the top spot on Billboard’s country songs chart, including “A Little Bit Stronger”, “Born To Fly”, and “Suds In The Bucket”. Montgomery will be the opening performance for Evans at the 2023 Marion County Fair. Marion County Fair Committee member Dustin DeMoss says he is excited for the show to open the evening events at this year’s fair. 

“Sara Evans, she’s got a lot of nice hits, good country music, so looking forward to having her. And then Walker Montgomery, I don’t know if everybody knows, but Walker Montgomery is the son of John Michael Montgomery, country icon. So, looking forward to a really great concert to kick off the Marion County Fair here in 2023.”
