The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad scored 12 runs in each game and it was enough to sweep Murray in a double header on Friday night 12-4 in game one and 12-11 in game two. The Sabers gradually pulled away from the Mustangs in that first game and outhit Murray 10-7. Kasey Clark and Gavin Clark had three hits, each to lead the way for Twin Cedars. Chase Rozenboom got the win pitching six strong innings with eight strikeouts. The Sabers walked it off in game two in the bottom of the 7th on a passed ball that scored Holden Roberts. The Sabers had to battle back being down 8-3 heading into the 4th inning, when they plated six runs to regain the lead, but Murray tied it in the top of the 7th. Twin Cedars will now turn its attention to the class 1A districts tonight as the Sabers have the 6th seed and will take on North Mahaska in Moravia at 5:00.
