The class 3A #7 Knoxville Baseball Squad wrapped up the regular season on Wednesday with a 6-4 win over Creston in a battle of the Panthers on Panther Drive. The black and gold Panthers got the upper hand early and while the red and black Panthers stayed in it the whole game, Knoxville managed to get key runs late. Hayden Hatch had a three RBI double in the 1st inning to get the scoring started. Also getting hits were Beau Leisure, and Lincoln Norris. Norris also got the win going two innings allowing one hit, no runs and one strikeout. Niko Lacona got the save. Knoxville will take a 32-3 record into the class 3A Substate opener on Friday against Oskaloosa. You can hear that game live on 95.3 KNIA.
