It took a seventh-inning comeback, but the #10 ranked Pleasantville baseball team stormed back to defeat PCM 4-3 Wednesday night in the Class 2A Substate 7 quarterfinals.

After two scoreless frames, the Mustangs broke through in the top of the third inning with three runs on just two hits to take the advantage in the game. PCM held the 3-0 lead deep into the contest and appeared on the verge of pulling off the upset. The Trojans had other ideas however, storming back in the bottom of the seventh inning to plate four runs and keep their season alive.

PCM ends their season with a 13-15 record, while Pleasantville improved to 28-6 and will take on Williamsburg Saturday night in the substate semifinals.
