A Melcher-Dallas man was arrested earlier this week on four felony charges.

On Friday, June 30th, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office went to 115 NE 4th St in Melcher and located an individual who had a warrant out for his arrest. The subject was arrested and while on scene the deputy saw a purple Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the fenced in yard. On Saturday, July 1st, the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen motorcycle that’s description matched that of the bike spotted on the 30th. Deputies returned to the residence on Sunday, where a female resident allowed them to come into the yard to inspect the motorcycle, and it came back as stolen. The subject in custody indicated to officers on Sunday that 40-year-old Justin Dennis Graham had stolen the motorcycle and that a missing fender from it was on Graham’s property, where it was later found.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., a deputy was called out to 402 NE 3rd St. in Melcher-Dallas in reference to the theft investigation, where the male resident asked if the deputy was there for some firearms. When asked further about the weapons, the resident said that Graham had dropped off four firearms roughly two to three days prior, but stated he didn’t want to keep them as he knew Graham was a convicted felon. Graham was located and arrested on Thursday, and told a detective that he had found the weapons behind his home and brought them to the 402 NE 3rd St.

Graham has been charged with third degree burglary and three counts of dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon, all classifying as class D felonies.
