Radar at 3:45 a.m. on 7/12/2023

Several rounds of thunderstorms brought much needed rainfall locally Wednesday. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air twice from 3:15 to 4 a.m. and again from 7:45 to 8:20 a.m. for a pair of warnings impacting southern Marion County and western Warren County. Many of those storms that were a bit weaker also dropped significant rainfall in the area:

Knoxville (KNIA/KRLS) – 1.21″
Pella – 1.5″
Lake Red Rock – 1.3″
Indianola – 1.9″
Pleasantville – 1.77″
Ackworth – 1.08″
