The #2 Carlisle Wildcats fell to #7 Winterset in the first round of the class 4A state softball tournament on Monday 11-5, they will play today in the consolation bracket against #6 ADM.

Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Southeast Warren softball make their class 1A state tournament starts today, with the #1 Blue Devils taking on Fort Dodge St. Edmund, and #3 Southeast Warren against #6 Clarksville. Both teams advanced past the quarterfinal round in 2022, and are on opposite sides of the bracket. Martensdale-St. Mary’s plays at 5pm, while Southeast Warren plays at 7:30pm.
