Monday marked the halfway point of the 2023 Marion County Fair. 

Events that took place on Monday included the sheep, poultry, and fun horse shows and the livestock judging contest. The night concluded with Impact Pro Professional Wrestling as the evening entertainment in the Show Pavilion. Wrestlers Miss Frankie Jay and Captain Midnight Guthrie said that coming to Knoxville for the Marion County Fair is a great tradition.

Miss Frankie Jay: “It’s like 10 years in a row now, it’s quite a bit of time, quite a legacy.”

Captain Midnight Guthrie: “We’re here every year.”

Miss Frankie Jay: “I mean, I’ve left my blood, sweat, and tears in that ring here in Knoxville, Iowa.”
