
The Indianola School Board met in regular session Tuesday, which included a presentation by Invision Architecture regarding the work done on the Indianola High School Replace-in-Place project. The board also reviewed the SchooL Based Mental Health Services report, which included 111 students who took advantage of services by the district, which received positive feedback. The board also discussed district branding guidelines, which included a consistent logo and color scheme for all school sports, and does not include any changes to the current logo. The board also discussed future strategic planning sessions, legislative priorities, and the possibility of investing in solar power, and approved the 2023-24 Certified Staff Extended Contracts and a resolution to pay bills when the board is not in session. The board also reviewed reports from the curriculum, finance, and facilities meetings.
