The Indianola girls and boys golf teams featured talented squads this past fall and spring, that included multiple top finishes at meets across the state, in addition to a sweep of the Little Hawkeye Conference championship. The girls won with a team score of 372 at Beaver Creek Golf Club in Grimes, and the boys won out of season with a 294 at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.
Camryn Overton running away with meet medalist honors shooting an 86, a full seven strokes ahead of second place, with her and teammate Amelia Moorlach telling KNIA Sports they are really excited for the future of the program.
Preston Bily carded a 70 to also earn a first place finish on the boys side, despite the Indians boys golf team competing in the fall.
