The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers for the upcoming annual Knoxville Nationals Parade. 

 

The event will be held on August 12th at 11:00 and will be located in downtown Knoxville. The parade showcases sprint car drivers along with many different entries representing the community. It is a way to showcase the community and celebrate the town of Knoxville during their biggest event of the year.

 

Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nathan Sage said there is a need for volunteers for parking and the parade to help the event run smoothly.

 

“We’re always in need of volunteers and we’re always looking for people to help out especially during Nationals. It is obviously the biggest event in Knoxville and Marion county really during that time frame.”
