The Knoxville Community foundation has rebranded and they want to continue investing in the future of Knoxville.
The Knoxville Community Foundation, which started as the Knoxville Heritage Foundation, supports Knoxville’s non-profit organizations and they work to build a bright tomorrow for the community. They have supported projects such as the Sprint Car Hall of Fame, The Grand Theater, performing arts center, library expansion and more.
The foundation tries to enhance the community by raising funds to be invested in the future of Knoxville. The community foundation recently donated $25,000 to Stepping Stones Early Learning center to support their capital campaign.
After several name changes over the years, Knoxville Community Foundation President Dylan Morse says this rebrand is a way to show what the organization is really about.
“We felt like this helped to really simplify what the organization is, what we’re about and just kind of clarify what the organization is and does for people that might not be as familiar with it as those of us that are involved.”
