We head to the bowling lanes for the #4 moment of the Knoxville High School sports year. Tristen Carter qualified for the State Bowling Meet on February 14th at the State Qualifier at Dutch 200 Bowl and Grill in Pella hosted by Pella Christian. He won the individual title which was a surprise to some. Carter knew he had a chance to qualify for State, and he told KNIA/KRLS Sports he felt good going into the meet. At the State Meet in Waterloo Carter told KNIA/KRLS Sports said the finish was not what he wanted but he is motivated to make it back this winter.

Carter: “It was an alright day, I had a good day practicing. I woke up feeling pretty good, but it was nerves, I couldn’t find a line, but as the day progressed I got better.”

Carter ended up finishing 18th overall with a total score of 597.
