Volunteers are needed for an upcoming headstone cleaning event in Indianola next week. The free event will provide a great opportunity to volunteer for a great cause, as headstones will be cleaned in the IOOF Cemetery in Indianola alongside experienced volunteers, and also learn about history while doing so. Attendees will need to bring a spray bottle filled with water, a plastic putty knife with a 1.2-2” blade, and a plastic long-handled vegetable brush, along with a water bottle and lawn chair if needed.
