A three-time individual state champion on the track this past spring is still showcasing his unique talents, and this past weekend, was able to earn a donation for his alma mater. Chase Lauman was the fastest high school participant in the 49th Annual Quad-City Times Bix 7. The race through downtown Davenport was a seven mile course. Premier Buick GMC Dealers donate to the school of the top high school competitor.

“I love my coach and love my teammates so much, so to give back to the school one last time before I go out was one of the big things I wanted to do,” Chase told the Quad Cities Times after the race.

Lauman was among several of his now former teammates to have participated in the event, and is soon heading to Cedar Falls to join the UNI Panthers.
