A new philanthropic organization has started in Indianola, as the 100 Women Who Care was launched yesterday at the Indianola Country Club. 100 Women Who Care is a nationwide network of women committed to making a positive difference in their communities, and each chapter consists of 100 or more women who commit to donating $100 four times per year to support local causes. Members will nominate local charities, and the winning vote will receive the funds.

Membership in 100 Women Who Care requires a commitment to attend four quarterly meetings and a pledge to contribute to the collective donation. Those interested in joining the chapter or seeking further information can email at 100womenwhocareindianola@gmail.com.
